Car rentals are available on a daily or weekly basis. You can pick your rental car up at the airport upon arrival. The Bahamas Beach House is quite easily located. Just let us know and we will make arrangements for you. The average daily rate is $60.00 with discounts offered for a weekly booking.

ID Required
All visitors require a return ticket.
U.S., Canadian & British Citizens - Passport recommended but not
required if stay is less than 3 weeks, otherwise 2 pieces of ID, one
with photo. No Visa is required.

A $15.00 departure tax is payable by every person over the age of 5 leaving the Bahamas. It is payable in Bahamian or U.S. cash or travelers checks only.

to Bring
Eleuthera is a casual island; shorts and t-shirts are always appropriate. Make sure you bring your bathing suit, a hat and some sunscreen. One can buy the basics you need here but not with the same variety you would find at home. If you have a favourite food you can't do without bring it along. If you are taking any medication make sure you have it with you. If you are traveling with small children or babies bring extra diapers and formula. There are several restaurants and grocery stores in the area and fish for sale on the ramp in the Harbour daily. Please check our house list for items provided.
